Oh boy, hon, I felt the emotions in this piece.

I mourned a mother I didn’t have. I wept for a mother who’d love me. I grieved for a mother who’d love my children as a grandmother should. 
But I didn’t mourn my mother.

We’ve both have had difficult mother’s. It scars you for life. That’s for sure.
